Fishery police misspent fines on cars, boats, travel - Bangor Daily News
There's a bumper sticker you often see around here: National Marine Fisheries Service: "Destroying Fishermen's Lives Since 1973." Or something to that effect.
This story won't make fishermen feel warm and fuzzy toward NMFS or its parent agency, NOAA.
